Francine is a 2024 Master of Public Policy candidate passionate about transforming Alberta’s agricultural landscape. Her work with The Simpson Centre focuses on policy interventions that facilitate the transition towards sustainable farming practices. Specifically, she is interested in contextualizing regenerative agriculture within Alberta, shaping policies that encourage widespread adoption and expansion. With a knack for building relationships and a keen ability for attentive listening, Francine excels in fostering trust and open communication. Her aim is to bridge the gap between farmers, policymakers, businesses and the public. Through collaborative efforts, she seeks to cultivate partnerships and advocate for sustainable solutions that will elevate the trajectory of Alberta’s agricultural industry.
